Classic Car Parade

Showcase your piece of automotive history in the 148th Annual Mandan Independence Day Parade! Every 4th of July, we invite auto enthusiasts to join our beloved community tradition and cruise down Main Street in front of thousands of spectators.

The best part? Participating in the classic car portion of the parade is completely free, and there are no pre-registration forms required. Simply show up, sign the waiver, and get ready to roll.

📍 Staging & Schedule

• Staging Location: Midway Lanes on the Strip (3327 Memorial Hwy, Mandan, ND)

• Staging Begins: 8:30 AM

• Participation Cutoff: 9:30 AM (All cars must be in the staging area by this time)

• Parade Enters Main Street: 10:00 AM

🚘 What Qualifies as a "Classic Car"?

We welcome a wide variety of vehicles that celebrate automotive history and craftsmanship. For this event, we generally define a "classic car" as:

• Vintage & Antique: Vehicles manufactured in or before 1990.

• Muscle Cars & Hot Rods: Custom builds, restored classics, and high-performance heritage vehicles.

• Unique/Special Interest: While our baseline is 1990 and older, we like to keep things broad and welcoming! If you have a historically significant or exceptionally unique vehicle built after 1990 that will bring nostalgia and excitement to the parade route, we want to see it.

📋 Rules & Requirements

• No Pre-Registration: There is no fee or application form to fill out beforehand.

• Mandatory Waiver: While there is no registration form, every individual riding in or driving the vehicle must sign the official Parade Waiver before the event begins. Waivers can completed here: https://www.visitmandan.com/parade-signup

• Safety First: No burnouts, reckless driving, or throwing candy directly from moving vehicles. Please keep pace with the parade lineup.
